SHRED.CO

OUR STORY
FROM LOCAL PARKS TO A HOME OF OUR OWN
Shred.Co began as a skateboard instructional program based out of New Jersey, teaching at local parks, schools and municipal recreation programs. What started as lessons quickly became something bigger: a community where beginners, families, adaptive athletes and lifelong skaters all belong.
In 2023 we opened our indoor skate space at 390 Fairfield Rd in Fairfield, NJ. A year-round home for private lessons, classes, birthday parties, events, day camps and open skate. Today we run programs indoors and out, and reinvest a portion of every program back into the community.

MISSION
TO IMPROVE PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL WELLBEING ON BOTH A LOCAL AND GLOBAL SCALE THROUGH SKATEBOARDING.
We provide guidance through instructional lessons, multi-level classes, in-school assemblies, after-school enrichment, municipal partnerships and more. Portions of profit are redirected into social impact projects: equipment donations, skatepark fundraising, therapeutic skate clinics, free lessons, demonstrations and charitable events at home and internationally.
WHAT IT MEANS TO SHRED
SHREDDING TRANSCENDS SKATEBOARDING
In action sports, shredding means riding with exceptional ability, style, speed or enthusiasm. We teach what it takes to SHRED in every part of life. The CO in Shred.Co stands for the community we build and the connections we share through skateboarding.
SETTING GOALS
Every session ends with something you couldn't do before.
HELPING OTHERS
Skaters cheer, coach and pick each other up — always.
RESPECT
For each other, for yourself and for the space we share.
EXPRESSING YOURSELF
There is no single right way to skate, or to be.
DETERMINATION & DEDICATION
Falling is part of it. Getting back up is the lesson.

THE TEAM
INSTRUCTORS WHO SKATE, TEACH AND SHOW UP
Shred.Co instructors are experienced skateboarders trained to teach beginners with patience, energy and safety-first structure. Our team of instructors, or "Shreducators" as we call them, leads indoor classes, school assemblies, municipal clinics and adaptive sessions across New Jersey.
